Click + Load file in the toolbar, or drag a file onto the window. EDVA automatically detects the file format and routes it to the correct decoder. Once loaded, use the flight dropdown to select any recorded flight — listed newest first with date, time, and flight number.

Additional instrument models and manufacturers are being added. If your engine analyzer is not yet supported, attach a sample data file with the manufacturer and model number and send to support@egtcht.com.

EDVA fully supports the Electronics International CGR-30P Flight Data Recording .csv format. Files are detected automatically — no special steps required. Just load the file like any other.

Click any channel label to show or hide that trace.

Hover over a channel label to highlight that trace across all panels — all other traces dim so you can follow one cylinder through the flight.

Right-click any channel label to open a color picker. Choose from 24 curated colors or enter a custom color. Your selection is saved and becomes the new default for that channel across all sessions.

Only channels with actual data in the loaded flight are shown. The value next to each label updates live as you move the cursor across the chart.

Move the cursor over any chart panel to see a vertical crosshair extending through all panels simultaneously. A readout box shows exact values for every visible channel at that point in time, plus elapsed time and alarm state (✓ None or █ Active with the triggering sensor).

The Smooth control applies a moving average to all traces simultaneously. Options: None, 3 pts, 5 pts, 9 pts. Use it to filter electrical noise and reveal the underlying trend. Higher values = smoother but less precise.

Alarm limits are read directly from your .jpi file. For JPI .csv and Electronics International files, standard defaults are used:

EDVA Basic is free. Pro unlocks advanced analysis tools for a one-time payment, which also includes your first year of Cloud storage. To upgrade, click the ★ Pro button in the toolbar and follow the checkout link. Once your purchase is complete, return to the app and enter your license key to activate.

Cloud storage lets you save every flight to your personal library and access it from any computer. Requires a Pro license.

To save a flight: Load a flight, then click ☁ Save to Cloud in the Account section of the sidebar.

To load a saved flight: Click ☰ My Flights to open your flight library. Click any row to load that flight.

Cloud storage requires an annual renewal after the first year included with Pro. Visit egtcht.com to manage your subscription.
